A beautiful, beautiful spirit. I so loved laughing with you Roberta. What a serious hoot indeed! Dear Mickie, know that you were and are well loved. Amazing Grace.

What a wonderful person and professor of nursing. Dr. Clegg had a true passion for community health nursing, nursing and health care administration, nursing education, and nursing research, to name a few special areas. We had some really good times at VSC/VSU in the 1980s and 1990s when Dr. Clegg, Dr. Gieske, Ms. Snell, and I made up the primary teaching team for graduate nursing studies. Dr. Clegg was a scholar, master teacher, and excellent provider of university and community service. She will be missed by so many who had the pleasure of knowing her, working with her, and being taught and mentored by her. Thanks so much, Roberta! What a difference you made. Bless you, Mickie.

My condolences, Mickie. I remember you both from my days in the first class of the Masters in Nursing program at VSU,( MSN 1986.) I appreciate Dr. Clegg's professionalism and caring attitude toward her students.

I thought the world of Roberta, who I got to know thru VSU's Phi Kappa Phi
Honor Society. I was so thrilled when she got the Faculty Scholar Award--she was so
touched in her acceptance speech.
So glad I ran into you both at Dr. Sule's
last fall. No one could ask for more devotion than you have given Roberta,
Mickie.
Know that I am thinking of you at this time. You are in my thought +
prayers.
Love, Dr. Caroline Hollingsworth Talbot

Roberta, You were such an enthusiastic soul, loving life and ready for the next adventure. Mickie, the companionship the two of you shared is inspiring. My deepest condolences.
